Relax and rejuvenate in our beautiful home, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the busy Cape traffic and busy neighborhoods. Just 5 minutes from great restaurants, shopping at Mashpee Commons and the action at New Seabury .
You can unwind in this quiet oasis, built for relaxation. Sit on the deck and gaze at the water view. You can listen to the calls of the Ospreys that nest across the Tidal River flowing before you. This special home has a boat dock and a tennis court ( shared infrequently by other members of this very small, quiet enclave of secluded houses).
You can also enjoy leisurely bike rides with 4 available adult bicycles or explore the Tidal River in the canoe and 2 kayaks. This home is perfect for enjoying your leisure relaxing time away while also having quick access to all the benefits of the nearby beaches and shopping activities of the Cape.
If you are ready for sun and sand , we are just 10 minutes from one of the town beaches. We have plenty of beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and sand toys to enhance your beach going experience. Then come back to the quiet, wooded property and wash off in the private outdoor shower.
Enjoy the well appointed kitchen with private garden views. This home is a perfect setting for families or friends to gather around the oak dining room table which seats 10 comfortably for dinners. Gather around the fire pit at night while you stargaze, or enjoy the nearby nightlife.
There are three bedrooms on the second floor….one bedroom with a King sized Temperpedic bed and a second bedroom with a Queen bed. They share a bathroom. The third upstairs bedroom has twin beds and a private bathroom. There is also a pull-out Queen couch on the upstairs balcony landing . The Master bedroom is on the main floor and has a private shower and secluded porch.
The setting is beautiful, with a peaceful and beautiful view of the tidal river, the forest and flowering gardens from the back deck. Our home is a perfect place to gather and to relax… just sit back and enjoy the flowers , bird song and the water view from the large deck appointed with comfortable Brown Jordan patio furniture .
The shaded cedar table on the adjacent brick and stone patio is perfect for breakfast, with it's very private water and garden views. For even more privacy, there is another private deck with rocking chairs off of the first floor master bedroom.
This naturalized property setting has a small herb garden and lovely flowers around the home so you can enjoy the hummingbirds that visit.
The home has full house air conditioning, but is usually very comfortable with the multiple wooded sliding doors open to the breeze that is enhanced by ceiling fans.
The wood-paneled , 4 season, screened porch is a quiet alcove for reading or putting together one of the many puzzles available. Or my personal favorite, just chill in the hammock and enjoy the surrounding nature and birdsong, uninterrupted by the hectic activity of the Cape.
