Positive: This is an exceptional motel, one of the best I've ever stayed in, and I have traveled by car through 35 of 50 states. The beds are comfortable, the rooms spotless, and the staff are courteous. While the place is a motel, the rooms are more along the lines of the kind you'd find in hotels around convention centers or in suburban business districts. It's right off the highway, easy to find. While the "breakfast" is a typical sugar-fest with bland coffee, the dining area is attractive, with comfortable seats in a sunny room. This place shows any Motel 6 or Super 8 how it should be done.

Negative: This goes for any American hotel, but the breakfast is unhealthy and bland processed food, and lukewarm, watery coffee. These days, even truck stops and petrol stations along the interstate feature brewed coffee, fresh fruit and vegetable trays, so motels could probably get to that level with some effort. However, as I came prepared with my own food, this is a minor point. The Travel Inn, Unadilla is a hit.
