Located on 72 gorgeous tree-covered acres our custom-designed tiny home retreat offers the best of both worlds - the sights and sounds of an authentic hill country ranch plus luxury decor and all the comforts of home - and then some!
This unforgettable romantic getaway is perfect for newlyweds, babymoons, anniversaries or to simply escape the city and breathe in the fresh air.
Tucked away at the back of the property the "Tiny Farmhouse" is located furthest from our other homes and offers near-total seclusion and privacy.
Relax with your morning coffee under a canopy of oaks as you watch the birds start their day or catch a glimpse of one of our Longhorns, goats or blackbuck antelope. At night, slip into the hot tub and stare at thousands of twinkling stars under the big Texas skies as the howls of distant coyotes keep you company.
At Twisted Horns Ridge, we take pride in creating a peaceful escape and have carefully prepared our home for your stay. Although the Tiny Farmhouse is small, it is designed to feel much larger - with vaulted ceilings and large windows throughout.
The house is decorated in modern farmhouse style with romantic touches throughout. White shiplap ceilings and gray shiplap walls create a neutral backdrop for brightly colored decor in yellows and blues. Floral prints and a crystal chandelier hanging over the cozy queen-size bed adds charm and romance.
The kitchen has a galvanized sink, custom-made cabinetry, and rustic shelving with black metal accents and print cotton towels to create a farmhouse feel. You'll find everything you need to prepare your meals with a coffee pot, microwave, apartment-sized refrigerator with ice maker and a double burner hot plate with a selection of cookware and dishes. We provide plenty of fixins for coffee or hot tea and a small selection of spices and condiments.
The bathroom is separated from the rest of the space by a sliding yellow barn door with a custom-designed vanity, toilet and walk-in shower.
Six-foot tall windows along two walls bring the outdoors in with views of the quaint porch and tree-covered yard. The porch provides additional living space with a seating area and gas fire table. Prepare bacon and farm fresh eggs on the Blackstone grill and enjoy your breakfast at the outdoor dining table.
During the day, you can explore the local area or lace up your hiking boots and explore the 72 acres to your heart's delight then cool down in the outdoor shower or in a galvanized Hill Country Swimming Pool. The hammock in the yard invites you to take a long afternoon nap before settling in for the evening.

Twisted Horns Ridge is located on our ranch near Tarpley Texas, about an hour from San Antonio and near the towns of Hondo and Bandera, Hill Country State Natural Area, Lost Maples State Natural Area, Lake Medina and other fun hill country towns and rivers.
