Negative: Hi! We wanted to let you know about a few things from our stay. When we first arrived, I opened the closet door in the upstairs king bedroom, and it came completely off the hinges. It actually hit and scratched my arm. Thankfully, it wasn’t a serious injury, but we wanted to let you know because it definitely needs to be repaired before the next guests arrive. We also noticed the backyard grass was extremely overgrown throughout our stay. Unfortunately, it made it difficult for us to enjoy the yard. We were constantly getting bitten by bugs, my fiancé had to kill a snake back there, and we didn’t feel comfortable letting our son play outside because of the conditions. Lastly, as we were packing up to leave this morning, the lawn care company arrived to mow. We completely understand that the yard needed to be cut, but they were blowing wet grass directly onto our vehicle while we were actively loading it. We spoke with them and asked if they could be careful, but they were rude and continued anyway. Our vehicle ended up covered in wet grass, which was really frustrating since we take pride in keeping it clean. We wanted to bring these issues to your attention because the broken closet door is a safety concern, and the timing and handling of the lawn service unfortunately affected the end of our stay. We truly enjoyed the house and appreciate the opportunity to stay there, but we did feel these issues should be shared. If there’s anything you feel is appropriate to help make up for the inconvenience, we’d certainly appreciate it. Thank you again, and we hope this feedback is helpful for future guests.
