Gorgeous, peaceful space, close to the action but perfect for rest and recharging. This well appointed home boasts an authentic Austin vibe decorated with local art and located in a laid back old Austin neighborhood making it a comfortable haven for families, groups or folks working remotely.

This home is well appointed with many thoughtful details to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Wood floors and recessed lighting throughout provide a clean and airy ambiance in which to hangout. In addition to having the basics like high speed WIFI, brand new central AC/heating and in-unit washer/dryer – many rooms have dimmer lights, remote control ceiling fans and top down/bottom up custom window blinds so that you can personalize your experience.
Open floor plan living room, dining and kitchen area have plenty of space for everyone to relax and makes it easy to hang out together. The living room has a brand new West Elm couch and 55 inch smart LG TV connected making it a wonderful social hub of the house and nice space in which to unwind. The couch also has a lamp for reading.
Cook like you are at home if you want -- The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials (coffee, tea and spices) and includes a dishwasher. Natural light from a big window, bright recessed lights and gas stove are a joy to cook with. The handmade round dining table is totally adaptable to seat 4-6 people comfortably. The red chairs can be moved outside to the patio for additional seating as well if needed.
Outdoor living is easy in this home – The backdoor in the kitchen opens directly out onto a good sized terracotta paver patio. Dine al fresco – the table on the patio seats 6+ people, and patio lights illuminate the entire yard at night. The backyard is fenced in with plenty of space for kids to run around. We're obsessed with gardening. Raised beds in the front and back yard have our seasonal winter and summer gardens (when it is not too too hot). Feel free to enjoy anything you see growing - fresh herbs and veggies are the best.
The 2 bedrooms are down the hallway away from the living area, so you can have separate spaces. Night owls can stay up and not keep people awake. The full bathroom in the hallway just off the living room is easily accessible for everyone. This bathroom has a tub – helpful if you have kiddos. All beds feature luxury hotel linens (400 thread count Egyptian cotton). The 2 full bathrooms are also stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your convenience.
Primary bedroom has a walk-in closet (with hangers). Queen bed on a comfortable CB2 bed frame with plenty of bedside shelf space. A vintage desk serves as a nice work station lit by natural light and has drawers that you can use to store your stuff as well. Lots of cozy details: Great bed side lighting from West Elm (replete with USB plugs to charge your phone), remote controlled ceiling fan, recessed lighting with a dimmer -- and beautiful artwork by local artists. Window also has top down or bottom up blinds.
The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (unusual in mid-century homes!). Bathroom has nice natural light and floor to ceiling tile.
The primary and second bedrooms are separated by a laundry room in the middle. The second bedroom down the hall boosts nice natural light from 2 windows and more local artwork. The queen bed has a built-in storage shelf in the headboard along with a West Elm lamp for late night reading. This bedroom has plenty of storage space for you between the closet (with hangers) and a low bookcase that can serve as suitcase rack. This bedroom also has a remote control ceiling fan for your convenience.
Hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer are all included as well.

Guest access
Access through a smart lock in the front or back door with a code. Guests have access to the entire home, parking, and backyard.
***Important Notes on Parking*** The driveway can easily fit a couple of cars. There is also ample free street parking. Please DO NOT park in the carport -- it was built for smaller cars of the 1950s and nearly impossible for larger modern vehicles to get out of. Guests are responsible for any damages incurred should they decide to park in carport.
Other things to note
We have security cameras with motion lights outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.
1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
3) No events or parties. Additional day guests are $40/person/day
4) No pets ($350 fine) Guests are responsible for any damages incurred.
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
6) Minimum age requirement to rent is 25
7) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
